Apple Unveils New MacBook Pro, Now with Intel Core i5 and i7 Processors

After today’s anticipated downtime, the Apple Store came back online with refreshed 15.4” and 17” MacBooks Pros, now powered by Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs. The 13” Pro is still hanging on to Core 2 Duo.

It’s an all-around refresh of the MacBook Pro roster; all of them now start with 4GB of RAM; on bigger models you can choose between the i5 and the i7 processors, namely the Core i5 2.4GHz, Core i5 2.53GHz and Core i7 2.66GHz models. The smaller models come with NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics, while the 15 and the 17-inchers bear NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics with 256 or 512 MB of video RAM.
